Get to know me
My name is Isabel, I’m a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) and I offer counseling and psychotherapy through a holistic, trauma-informed lens. I come from a multicultural background that deeply informs how I see the world and how I hold space for others. With Swiss and Spanish roots, I grew up in Dubai, UAE, a city where cultures, languages, and belief systems converge. In 2015, I moved to Miami, another richly diverse city, where my work and personal journey have continued to center around identity, belonging, and healing.
This global experience has shaped my capacity to sit with complexity. I understand what it means to carry multiple cultural narratives, to navigate transition and in-betweenness, and to seek connection in unfamiliar spaces.
I named my practice The Return Home from the realization that across all backgrounds lives a common thread: the deep human desire to return to what feels authentic and true – to the home within ourselves where we can live fully and freely. This understanding lives at the heart of my work.
Coming home to yourself changes everything

My Experience
Clinically, my experience comes from working deeply in treatment settings as both primary therapist and clinical supervisor. I’ve supported individuals through a wide range of challenges including trauma, anxiety, grief, addiction, and major life transitions.
These experiences have grounded me in evidence-based practices while deepening my belief in meeting each person with compassion, humility, and respect for the full depth of their lived experience.
Therapy, to me, is sacred work. I honor where you’ve been, and I hold hope for where you’re going, even when the way forward feels uncertain. Whether you’re navigating pain, change, or rediscovery, I’m here to walk alongside you, with the care, presence, and expertise your journey deserves.
