Boca Raton clients, online

Online Therapist for Boca Raton and Palm Beach County

I completed my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lynn University in Boca Raton, so this corner of Palm Beach County holds a place in my own story. Today I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Miami, and I see clients from Boca by secure video.

You can meet with me from home, from a parked car near Mizner Park on your lunch break, or from any private spot in Florida. The session starts when you click the link.

Each session is 50–60 minutes and $175, and you can begin with a free 15-minute consultation.

What online-only therapy means for you

My work happens entirely on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. I don’t have a waiting room or a front desk anywhere, in Boca Raton or in Miami.

The practical upside is time. The stretch of I-95 between here and Miami can run well over an hour when traffic stacks up, and even a local appointment off Glades Road at rush hour cuts into your evening. With video, you trade all of that for a couple of minutes settling into a quiet room.

The setup is simple. You need to be physically in Florida for each appointment, a phone or computer with a camera, and a room where you will not be overheard. The secure client portal handles the rest, including the link you use to join.

When everything looks fine on paper

A lot of the people I work with describe a life that looks good on paper. The career is going well, the house is in order, the family photos are lovely, and underneath there is a steady hum of anxiety or a flat, empty feeling they cannot explain.

  • You agree to every request and quietly resent it later.
  • You can explain exactly where your patterns come from and still repeat them.
  • You feel numb at celebrations that should be happy, like your own birthday dinner.
  • Your body stays braced, even on a slow Sunday with nothing planned.
  • You are the one everyone leans on, and nobody asks how you are.

Insight matters, and people in this spot usually have plenty of it. My aim is to help what you understand about yourself start to show up in how you feel and act day to day.

Approaches people in Palm Beach County ask about

  • IFS-informed parts work, for the inner critic, the people-pleaser, and the part of you that just wants to hide
  • Somatic therapy, for chronic tension and the sense that your body is never quite at ease
  • EMDR therapy, for painful memories that still hold a charge
  • Burnout therapy, for professionals, caregivers, and parents who have been over-functioning for years
  • Life transitions therapy, for retirement, an empty house, a divorce, or a move from up north or from abroad
  • Grief counseling, for losses that are recent or ones you never had room to feel
  • Anxiety therapy and sessions in Spanish

I bring these together in what I call The Return Home Framework, which also draws on ACT and mindfulness. The name comes from a simple idea: under the coping strategies, there is a self you can come back to.

I am an Integrated Somatic Trauma Practitioner through The Embody Lab, I am EMDR-trained, and I completed the Neurobiology of Complex Trauma training through the NCTSN.

Privacy and scheduling close to home

This can feel like a smaller place than it is. Between neighborhood clubs, faith communities, schools, and the same handful of restaurants, it is easy to run into people you know. Video sessions mean no one spots your car outside a therapist’s door. Headphones and a closed door cover most situations, and when the house is full, a parked car in a quiet, shaded spot is a good fallback.

Appointments are available at weekday and some evening times. If you spend part of the year here and the rest out of state, we can meet during the months you are in Florida and pause while you are away.

Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University students who are adults can book with me too. My sessions are completely separate from campus counseling services.

Common questions

Do you see clients in person in Boca Raton?

No. Every session is held over secure video, and I do not have an office in Boca Raton or anywhere else. You can join from home, from work, or from a parked car, as long as you are in Florida at the time and have a private place to talk. Skipping the drive is often what makes regular sessions possible.

Can FAU or Lynn University students work with you?

Yes, if you are an adult and you are in Florida for each session. Some students like having a therapist outside their campus, so their counselor is not someone they might pass in the library. Sessions are $175, and you can ask about insurance during the free consultation.

Do you work with retirees and older adults?

Yes. I work with adults at any stage of life, including people adjusting to retirement, the loss of a spouse, or a move to Florida later in life. All you need is a laptop, tablet or phone with a working camera. If video calls are new to you, we can test the connection together during the free consultation.

What is IFS-informed parts work?

It is an approach based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) ideas, where we get curious about the different parts of you, such as the part that pushes you to keep achieving or the part that shuts down. We learn what each one is trying to protect, which tends to ease the tug-of-war between them. I use an IFS-informed approach alongside somatic work and EMDR.

How much does therapy cost?

Sessions are 50–60 minutes and $175 each, private pay. The first 15-minute consultation is free and can be by phone or video. Insurance options depend on your plan, so ask during your free consultation. You can also read the fees and insurance page before you call.
